1 c butter or margarine 
1 ¾ c sugar 
2 eggs 
1 tsp vanilla 
1 ½ tsp baking soda 
¼ tsp lemon extract 
5 c flour 
½ tsp salt 
1 tsp baking powder 
1 c sour cream
  
•  Preheat oven to 350º. 
•  Cream together butter or margarine and sugar in large bowl. 
•  Add eggs, vanilla and lemon extract. 
•  In separate bowl, mix soda and sour cream.  Add to above mixture. 
•  Add flour, baking powder and salt; mix thoroughly. 
•  Roll dough approximately 3/8 inch thick - do not refrigerate. 
•  Gently use form(s) to cut dough.  Place cut-out dough shapes onto greased     baking sheet. 
•  Bake 8-10 minutes.  Do not over bake. 
•  Remove from oven and place on cooling rack; let cool completely before frosting     or decorating. 
•  Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
  
Cream Cheese Frosting

8 oz. pkg cream cheese 
2 tsp vanilla 
½ c butter (softened) 
1 lb powdered sugar
  
•  Cream together butter and cream cheese. 
•  Add vanilla and powdered sugar. 
•  Beat with electric mixer until smooth. 
•  Color frosting with food coloring(s) if desired.
  
Shape-Its Meatloaf

1 lb. lean ground beef 
1 c crumbled saltine or Ritz crackers 
1 egg 
¼ c finely chopped onion or 1 Tbsp minced onion 
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce 
1 tsp garlic powder 
1 tsp salt 
¼ tsp pepper
  
•  Using bare hands, mix all ingredients in medium-sized bowl.
